■This is a vintage SNCF (French National Railway) poster by Raymond Savignac.
The original work dates back to the 1960s, but this particular poster was reused in 1970.
It is an advertisement for "half-price train tickets," and I think it is a wonderfully humorous piece, very much in Savignac's style.
There are separate versions featuring a man and a woman, and the size makes them easy to display.
The surface of the paper is uneven, and there are small creases, stains, and uneven coloring, so the price has been adjusted accordingly.
