◆This is an antique cup and saucer, Minton pattern 218, made by Sargemine.
Delicately hand-painted over a transfer print.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is paint loss on the inside and rim of the cup. (See photos 8–10, etc.)
There are minor manufacturing irregularities typical of antique items. (Please see the enlarged photos.)
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Cup diameter 9.4 cm x height 4.6 cm / Saucer diameter 15 cm
●Period: Around 1875–1920
●Crazing: Cup: Less than 1% of the total surface / Saucer: Less than 1% of the total surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time, and is not damage (cracks).)
*Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have minor chips, crazing, scratches, wobbling, etc.
