◆This is an antique dessert plate from the "FONTANGES" series by Sargemine.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is a tiny chip on the rim, about the size of a glaze flaw. (Photos 6 and 7)
There are minor manufacturing irregularities typical of antique ceramics. (Please see the enlarged photos)
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Diameter 20.2 cm
●Period: Around 1890–1920
●Crazing: Less than 1% of the surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
*Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, wobbling, etc.
