◆This is an antique plate by Émile Bourjois (the distributor).
It was manufactured by Shawl et Fils.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is a tiny chip on the rim, about the size of a small area of missing glaze. (Photo 9)
There is a radial crackle pattern on the back. (Photos 10–12, etc.)
There are minor manufacturing irregularities typical of antique ceramics.
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 23.4 cm in diameter
●Period: Circa 1878–1920
●Crackle: Approximately 10% of the overall surface
(→Crackle refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
