◆This is an antique Lavie (appetizer plate) by Saint-Amand, made by Saint-Amand.
There are two versions of the Marillouis pattern: the SAINT AMAND era and the MOULIN DES LOUPS era, and even though they have the same pattern, they differ in atmosphere.
This is the older type from the SAINT AMAND era.
It is in very beautiful condition with little sign of use.
There is a small chip on the foot (photo 10).
There are small manufacturing irregularities unique to antique plates (photo 5, etc.).
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 24.6 cm wide x 14.7 cm long
●Era: Around 1896–1900
●Crazing: Approximately 5% of the overall surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time, and is not damage (cracks).)
*Antique tableware may have kiln marks or paint irregularities that occurred during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, wobbling, etc.
