◆This is an antique plate with a mimosa motif by Shawl et Fils.
It is hand-stenciled, and you can enjoy the unique texture of the brushwork.
It is in very beautiful condition with little sign of use.
There is a small area on the back of the rim that looks like a chip, but it is covered in glaze and is a manufacturing mark. (Photo 10)
There is a small area of glaze loss on the foot (base), which has left a faint stain. (Photos 11, 12, etc.)
There are small manufacturing irregularities typical of antique plates. (Please see the enlarged photos.)
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 25.3 cm wide x 14.1 cm long
●Period: Around 1878–1920
●Crazing: Less than 1% of the overall surface
