◆This is an antique café au lait bowl by Shawl Giroux featuring a mimosa motif.
It was decorated using a hand stencil, and you can enjoy the unique texture of the brushwork.
There are some overall stains, but it is in relatively good condition.
There is a tiny chip in the glaze on the outside of the rim. (See photo 7, etc.)
There is a small line on the inside of the rim, but it does not extend to the outside and is not a crack caused by damage. (Photo 9)
There are minor manufacturing irregularities typical of antique ceramics. (Please see the enlarged photos.)
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Diameter 14.5 cm x Height 8.4 cm
●Period: Circa 1878–1920s
●Crazing: Present throughout
