◆This is an antique basket-shaped tin from the French biscuit manufacturer LU.
This is a very rare type manufactured in the 1930s.
The 1930s type has the manufacturer's name (L.Chambon/Bernier freres) on the back of the box. (Photos 19, 20 / It is faded and very hard to see.)
This is a popular and cute tin that looks just like a real basket.
The fastening hardware for the handle has been repaired and replaced on one side only. (Photos 8, 9)
Because the box is slightly deformed, it is difficult to close the lid completely.
There are also small scratches, peeling, rust, discoloration, and other deformations.
●Size: Height 21cm (including handle) X Width 21.5cm
