It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is some unevenness in the color on the side of the cup from the manufacturing process. (6th photo)
There are small manufacturing irregularities typical of Susie Cooper tableware.
No other chips or cracks were found.
● Size: Cup diameter 10.4 cm x height 6.4 cm / Saucer diameter 15.5 cm / Cake plate diameter 17.4 cm
● Era: 1935
● Crazing: Cup: Less than 1% of the total / Saucer: Less than 1% of the total / Cake plate: Approximately 20% of the total
(→ Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time, and is not damage (cracks).)
※ The underside of Susie Cooper plates has kiln marks (rough areas where the glaze is unglazed).
These marks are not damage; they are caused by using supports to prevent the underside of the plate from touching the kiln shelf during firing.
※ Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, wobbles, etc.
