◆This is an antique cup and saucer from the "LOUIS XV" series by U&C Sarreguemines.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is some slight fading of the gold decoration, but it is still quite well-preserved for its age.
There are minor manufacturing irregularities characteristic of antique ceramics. (Please see the enlarged photos.)
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Cup diameter 9.5cm x height 5.1cm / Saucer diameter 15.3cm
●Period: Around 1890–1920
●Crazing: Cup: Approximately 1% of the overall surface / Saucer: Approximately 1% of the overall surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
*Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, wobbling, etc.
