◆This is a small antique café au lait bowl with a Petit Bateau (small boat) stencil made by Badon Villère.
It is in beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is a small hairline-like mark on the rim, but it does not reach the outside, nor does it appear to absorb water quickly, so it is likely a kiln mark under the glaze from production rather than damage. (Photo 7)
There is a very small chip on the inside of the rim, about the size of a glaze flaw. (Photos 8, 9, etc.)
There are minor manufacturing irregularities typical of antique pottery.
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Diameter 11.5 cm x Height 6 cm
●Period: Circa 1920–1960
●Crazing: Approximately 3% of the surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during production or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
*Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, wobbles, etc.
We strive to describe the condition of our products in as much detail as possible through photos and descriptions,
but as it is difficult to document everything completely, please place your order with an understanding of the points mentioned above.
