◆This is an antique compote from “VILLARS” by Choville Roy.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
The rim and foot are decorated with relief.
There is a small chip on the rim, about the size of a glaze flake.
There is also a crack on the rim (approx. 7.5 cm), so the price has been significantly reduced. See photo 9 (front) and photo 10 (back) for the same area.
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Diameter 24.1 cm x Height 14.6 cm
●Period: Approx. 1878–1920
●Crazing: Present on about 50% of the surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
*Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, wobbling, etc.
We strive to describe the condition of our products in as much detail as possible through photos and descriptions,
but as it is difficult to document everything completely, please place your order with an understanding of the points mentioned above.
