◆This is an antique café au lait bowl featuring a cat stencil by Badon Villere.
This is a very rare bowl.
There is a stain on the inside, but overall it is in good condition.
There are chips on the rim and foot (photos 6 and 7, etc.).
The unglazed surface on the inside has a rough texture (photos 10 and 11, etc.).
There is an area on the foot that looks like a repair mark, but when viewed under a magnifying glass, it appears to be a glaze defect. (photo 13, etc.)
There are minor manufacturing irregularities typical of antique ceramics.
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 13 cm diameter x 7 cm height
●Period: Circa 1920–1960
●Crazing: Present on about 20% of the surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
*Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have minor chips, crazing, scratches, wobbling, etc.
We make every effort to describe the condition of our items in detail through photos and descriptions,
but as it is difficult to document everything completely, please place your order with the above points in mind.
