◆This is an antique café au lait bowl by Sargemine, labeled “Souvenir of Lourdes.”
It is a rare type within the Lourdes series, as very few have come into stock.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There are extremely small areas of glaze loss and some staining around the rim. (Photo 9)
There are minor manufacturing irregularities typical of antique earthenware.
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 12.3 cm diameter x 7 cm high
●Period: Circa 1880s–1940s
●Crazing: Approximately 1% of the surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
*Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have minor chips, crazing, scratches, or wobbling.
