◆This is a small petit bowl novelty item from “ALSA,” a confectionery manufacturer from the Alsace region of France.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is a faint line resembling crazing on the inside of the rim, but it does not connect to the lines on the outside, so I do not believe it is a crack. (Photo 6)
There is a kiln mark (foot) on the base from manufacturing. (Photo 8)
There are minor manufacturing irregularities typical of antique earthenware.
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Diameter 7.9 cm x Height 4.4 cm
●Period: 1920–1960.
●Crazing: Present on approximately 20% of the surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
*Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have minor chips, crazing, scratches, wobbling, etc.
