◆This is a tea trio “Cactus” by Susie Cooper.
The motif is a cactus, and the rim design appears to be inspired by cactus spines.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
The area inside the cup shown in the third photo is an unevenness in the glaze from manufacturing, not a crack or crazing.
There is also unevenness in the glaze from manufacturing on the rim of the saucer. (Photo 7)
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Cup diameter 9.4cm x height 5.7cm / Saucer diameter 14.7cm / Cake plate diameter 17.6cm
●Era: 1936
●Crazing: Cup: None found / Saucer: Approximately 10% / Cake plate: Approximately 80%
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time, and is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates has kiln marks (rough areas where the glaze is uneven).
These marks are made to support the plates on stilts during firing so that the underside does not come into contact with the kiln shelf, and are not damage.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, etc.
We strive to describe the condition of the products in detail through photos and descriptions as much as possible,
but as it is difficult to describe everything completely, please place your order with an understanding of the above points.
