◆This is a teacup and saucer set “Printemps” by Susie Cooper.
True to its name, the design evokes spring flowers.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is a small spot on the cup that appears to be due to age (5th photo).
The saucer has minor scuffs and unevenness around the rim from manufacturing (7th and 8th photos).
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Cup diameter 9.3 cm x height 5.4 cm / Saucer diameter 14.8 cm
●Era: 1936
●Crazing: None found
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates features kiln marks (rough areas where the glaze is exposed).
These marks are not damage; they are created by placing supports under the plates to prevent the underside from touching the kiln floor during firing.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have minor chips, crazing, scuffs, etc.
We strive to describe the condition of our products in as much detail as possible through photos and descriptions,
but as it is difficult to document every detail, please place your order with the above points in mind.
