◆This is a Susie Cooper "Printemps" morning cup and saucer.
It is slightly larger than a tea cup, designed for morning milk tea.
True to its name, the design is inspired by spring flowers.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is a small manufacturing irregularity inside the cup, but as it is beneath the glaze, no water has seeped through from this point. (4th photo)
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Cup diameter 10.3cm x height 6.3cm / Saucer diameter 15.5cm
●Era: 1936
●Crazing: Cup: Less than 1% of the total / Saucer: Approximately 5% of the total
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time, and is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates has kiln marks (rough glazed areas).
These are not damage, but marks made by supports used during firing to prevent the underside of the plate from touching the ground.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, etc.
We strive to describe the condition of the product in detail through photos and descriptions as much as possible,
but as it is difficult to describe everything completely, please understand the above points before placing your order.
