◆This is a Susie Cooper "Polka Dot" water jug.
This is the largest size among the water jugs.
As this was a special order from the department store John Lewis, it does not have a Susie Cooper backstamp.
It is in very beautiful condition with little sign of use.
There is an uneven area at the base of the handle from manufacturing. It is covered in glaze and is not damage. (6th photo)
There is a small stain on the inside.
The price has been adjusted due to small paint chips on the dots. (7th photo)
No chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Height 13.5cm x Width 17.9cm (from handle to spout)
●Era: 1934
●Crazing: None found
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time, and is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates has marks (areas where the glaze is rough).
These are marks made by supporting the plates with supports during firing to prevent the underside from touching the ground, and are not damage.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, etc.
We strive to describe the condition of the products in detail through photos and descriptions as much as possible,
but as it is difficult to describe everything completely, please understand the above points before placing your order.
