◆This is a pink milk jug from Susie Cooper's "Dresden Spray" collection.
The design is inspired by the wildflowers of Susie's hometown.
It is also famous for being given as a gift to Mrs. Simpson by King Edward VIII.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is a small age-related stain on the foot (photo 7).
There is a faint unevenness in the ink from the manufacturing process (photo 8).
No chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Width 10 cm (from spout to handle) x Height 6.8 cm
●Year: 1935
●Crazing: Approximately 3% of the overall surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time, and is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates has kiln marks (rough areas where the glaze is unglazed).
These marks are not damage; they are caused by using supports to prevent the underside of the plate from touching the kiln shelf during firing.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, etc.
We strive to describe the condition of the items as thoroughly as possible in the photos and descriptions,
but as it is difficult to document everything completely, please place your order with an understanding of the points mentioned above.
