◆This is a Susie Cooper "Printemps" dinner plate with a blue floral design.
True to its name, the design is inspired by spring flowers.
The floral Printemps pattern is quite rare.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There are very small cutlery marks (see the second photo).
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 25.1 cm in diameter
●Era: 1935
●Crazing: Approximately 10% of the surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates has kiln marks (rough areas where the glaze is exposed).
These marks are not damage; they are caused by using supports during firing to prevent the underside of the plate from coming into contact with the kiln shelf.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, etc.
