◆This is a Suecooper "Amaryllis" deep plate.
It is a hand-painted piece.
Although it dates from the 1950s onward, it is made of earthenware and has a warm feel.
It is in particularly beautiful condition with very little sign of use.
It has minor manufacturing irregularities typical of Suecooper tableware.
No chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Diameter 22.7 cm x Height 3.3 cm
●Year: 1961
●Crazing: Less than 1% of the overall surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time, and is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Suecooper plates has kiln marks (rough areas where the glaze is exposed).
These marks are not damage; they are caused by using supports to prevent the underside of the plate from touching the kiln shelf during firing.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have minor chips, crazing, scratches, wobbling, etc.
