◆This is a small deep plate “Amaryllis” by Susie Cooper.
It is hand-painted.
Although it dates from the 1950s onwards, it is made of earthenware and has a warm feel.
It is in particularly beautiful condition with little sign of use.
It has minor manufacturing irregularities characteristic of Susie Cooper tableware.
No chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Diameter 19.5cm x Height 3.2cm
●Year: 1961
●Crazing: Less than 1% of the overall surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates has kiln marks (rough areas where the glaze is exposed).
These marks are not damage; they are caused by using supports during firing to prevent the underside of the plate from coming into contact with the kiln shelf.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have minor chips, crazing, scratches, wobbling, etc.
We strive to describe the condition of the item in as much detail as possible through photos and descriptions,
but as it is difficult to describe everything completely, please place your order with the above points in mind.
