◆This is a “Tiger Lily” teapot by Susie Cooper.
It is the smallest size in the Tea for Two (two-person) series.
The motif is a tiger lily.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
Upon inspection with a magnifying glass, there is a small chip-like area on the rim of the foot (base), which appears to be an unevenness from production. (Photo 10)
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 17.5 cm wide (from spout to handle) x 12 cm high
●Era: 1941
●Crazing: None found
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during production or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates has kiln marks (rough areas where the glaze is uneven).
These marks are not damage; they are caused by using supports during firing to prevent the underside of the plate from coming into contact with the kiln shelf.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, etc.
We make every effort to describe the condition of the item in detail through photos and descriptions,
but as it is difficult to describe everything completely, please place your order with an understanding of the points mentioned above.
