◆This is a green “Dresden Spray” sugar bowl by Susie Cooper.
The design is inspired by the wildflowers of Susie’s native region.
It is also famous for being given to Mrs. Simpson by King Edward VIII.
It is in very beautiful condition with little sign of use.
No chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 9.2 cm diameter x 4.1 cm high
●Date: 1935
●Crazing: Approximately 10% of the surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates may have marks (areas where the glaze is rough).
These are not damage, but marks left by the supports used to keep the underside of the plate from touching the kiln floor during firing.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process. It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, etc. While we make every effort to describe the condition of our items in detail through photographs and descriptions, it is difficult to document every imperfection. Please understand the above points before placing your order.
