◆This is a demi-tasse cup and saucer “Printemps” by Susie Cooper.
True to its name, the design is inspired by spring flowers.
It is in particularly beautiful condition with almost no signs of use.
No chips or cracks were found.
●Size: Cup diameter 6.3 cm x height 5.7 cm / Saucer diameter 12.1 cm
●Era: 1936
●Crazing: Approximately 3% of the cup / Approximately 30% of the saucer
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates features kiln marks (rough areas where the glaze is unglazed).
These marks are not damage; they are caused by using supports to prevent the underside of the plate from touching the kiln floor during firing.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, or other signs of wear.
