Antique Plate, French Decorative Plate, Sarreguemines, France, LA NOURRICE BEBE DORT, U&C, SARREGUEMINES, FRANCE

◆This is an antique plate made by Sargemine (during the U&C era).

The design was created by French ceramic decorator Antoine-Albert Richard and is an original from that period.

Froment-Richard is his pseudonym, and a monogram featuring the inverted initials "FR" can be seen next to the left leg of the chair.

It shows little sign of use and is in very beautiful condition.
The gold gilding around the rim shows some fading due to age.
There are minor manufacturing irregularities characteristic of antique ceramics. (Please see the enlarged photos.)
No chips or cracks were found.

●Size: Diameter 21.5 cm
●Period: Around 1890–1920
●Crazing: Less than 1% of the overall surface (What is crazing?)

※Antique tableware may have kiln marks, uneven paint, wobbling, as well as small chips, crazing, and scratches resulting from the manufacturing process.
