◆This is a commemorative plate series by Clay E. Montlou, celebrating the 4th Exposition Universelle held in Paris in 1889.
The center depicts the Eiffel Tower, which was built for the Paris Exposition and has now become a symbol of Paris.
The rim features the coats of arms of the participating countries, making this a valuable piece that conveys the splendor of the international exposition at the end of the 19th century.
It is in very beautiful condition with little sign of use.
There are minor manufacturing irregularities typical of antique ceramics. (Please see the enlarged photos.)
No other chips or cracks were found.

●Period: Around 1884–1920
●Crazing: Approximately 10% of the overall surface
