◆This is an antique plate by “NANTAIS,” made by the French manufacturer Shawl et Fils.
It is in very beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is a tiny chip in the glaze on the rim.
There is a small stain on the back. (Photo 9)
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 24 cm in diameter
●Period: Around 1878–1920
●Crazing: Present on approximately 80% of the surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
*Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scratches, and other signs of wear.
