◆This is an antique café au lait bowl by Badon Villay featuring a swallow stencil.
It is in particularly beautiful condition with minimal signs of use.
There is a very small chip on the rim, about the size of a glaze flake. (Photos 10 and 11)
There are minor manufacturing irregularities typical of antique ceramics.
No other chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 12 cm diameter x 7.3 cm height
●Period: Circa 1920–1960
●Crazing: Less than 1% of the surface
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
*Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have small chips, crazing, scuffs, wobbles, etc.
