This is a handmade ceramic Kugelhopf mold, used to make a traditional pastry from the Alsace region of France.
This is the plain, unpainted version.
Each piece is carefully handmade by artisans in Soufflenheim.
Compared to metal molds, ceramic Kugelhopf molds distribute heat more evenly, resulting in a moist and fluffy baked pastry.
Instructions regarding bisque firing and other details will be included with the product.
