◆This is a deep plate by Susie Cooper, “Meadowsweet.”
Although it dates from the 1950s onward, its earthenware material gives it a warm feel.
The combination of primrose and red clover has a charmingly rustic appeal.
It is in particularly beautiful condition with very little signs of use.
It has minor manufacturing irregularities typical of Susie Cooper tableware.
No chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 23 cm diameter x 3.3 cm height
●Year: 1958
●Crazing: None found
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time; it is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates has kiln marks (rough areas where the glaze is unglazed).
These marks are not damage; they are made by supports that prevent the underside of the plate from touching the kiln shelf during firing.
※Antique tableware may have kiln marks or uneven paint caused during the manufacturing process.
It may also have minor chips, crazing, scratches, wobbles, etc.
We make every effort to describe the condition of our items in detail through photos and descriptions,
but as it is difficult to document everything completely, please place your order with an understanding of the points mentioned above.
