◆This is a Susie Cooper “Wedding Ring” milk jug.
At the time, it was a popular series for brides preparing for their weddings.
It is in very beautiful condition with little signs of use.
There is uneven paint at the tip of the spout. (5th photo)
There is unevenness around the rim from the manufacturing process. (6th photo)
No chips or cracks were found.
●Size: 12.4 cm wide (from spout to handle) x 8.9 cm high
●Era: 1932
●Crazing: None found
(→Crazing refers to the condition of the surface glaze caused during manufacturing or over time, and is not damage (cracks).)
※The underside of Susie Cooper plates has marks (rough areas in the glaze).
These are not damage, but marks made by supporting the plates with stands during firing to prevent the underside from touching the ground.
